New! Handy Strap and Lock Invention Provides Improved Security from Intrusion
Criminals can unlock a deadbolt in seconds using easily available bump keys and other devices nearly as fast as if they had the key.
No more. Super Grip Lock, created by 70-year old inventor Melinda A. Moore of Sweet Home, Oregon, grips the deadbolt and then wraps around the door handle so tight, the key will break if an intruder tries to open the lock.
Super Grip Lock prevents anyone from unlocking their deadbolt at home or when traveling or in hotels, motels, or homes in high crime areas.
Made with a super grip durable hook-and-loop fabric faced with nylon. It works on nearly all deadbolts – with the door handle up to 6 inches away.
The simple directions are printed on strap. One end slips on the arm of the deadbolt and the strap is pulled firmly around the door handle, the Velcro is then pressed tight. Voila!
And it works. No tools needed- Just attach and wrap to stop anyone from unlocking your deadbolt. Super Grip Lock gives people additional piece of mind if they are travelling and stay in rooms without enough security. It adds an extra measure of physical security to a deadbolt and handle kind of lock.
Super Grip Lock is very portable and lightweight. weighs only 0.6 ounces and is 19 inches long, 1.4 inches wide, and 0.3 inches thick. Works on wood and metal security doors.
Super Grip Lock retails for $10 plus shipping and handling. Created by Oregon inventor Melinda Moore who received a 20-year utility patent from the US Copyright Office (US Patent Number: 6,182,485).
